When Brian was a young child back in the Philippines, he used to play outdoors a lot. During many of these games with his siblings or other kids in the neighbourhood, he would have to wait for his turn. Waiting for your turn can be boring, so Brian used to kill time by drawing on the dirt using a stick or his bare fingers.
This painting is a trip down the memory lane for him. He enjoyed reminiscing those happy times and the familiar scenery of unpaved roads, stray dogs, puddles after the rain, rusty corrugated roofing, among many others.
