‘Supermoon’ was inspired by the supermoon in Australia in 2013, and a photo of the Twelve Apostles on a calendar that Brian saw. He noticed that most artworks he has seen of the Twelve Apostles were taken during daytime, so he decided to paint how the scene would have looked during a supermoon. This is the result.

This painting was entered into the 50th Rotary Easter Art Exhibition in Bendigo during the Bendigo Easter Festival 2018 and was sold.
